Ophélie Daugé: TV Ambassador

Hi, I’m Ophélie, I’m 28 and I study HNC TV and Broadcast.

TV is the career I want to be in. You get to create entertainment and make people dream, telling stories with more than just words and create using so many mediums.

Two women in media that inspire me are Emily Kaplan and Kate Abdo. Emily Kaplan is an American sports reporter (mainly ESPN Ice Hockey) and Kate Abdo, British sports broadcaster, they both imposed themselves in a man's world with class and talent. They are the best in what they do and they show the path for the women to enter this industry!

My hopes for the future are to work in media, sports broadcast in France/Canada or other countries in Europe, and be able to create innovative shows. I am also interested in working around TTRPG live content, fictional movies/series and historic pieces. In a forever evolving media industry I would love to just wear different caps/ do different roles. Always behind the camera though. (Producer, Visual Mixer, Director...)
