Jessica Elliott: Journalism Ambassador

Hi, my name is Jessica, I’m 19 and I study HND Journalism at City of Glasgow College.

I have an interest in Journalism because I love telling stories and bringing attention to issues that I think are important.

A woman in media that inspires me is Jane Lewis. She is incredibly inspirational to me as someone who wants to get into sports journalism. The coverage she provides for the SWPL is something I dream to do one day and she has worked incredibly hard to get to where she is today.

I want to become a sports journalist, despite the male-dominated industry. I hope that I can represent women and trans people in Scottish sports journalism.

Favourite artist: Chappell Roan. Obsessed.

Favourite TV show: Fallout. Incredible TV show, and held my attention, which is a rarity!
