Sophie Ivanov: Production Lead

Hello, my name is Sophie Ivanov, I’m 21 and currently studying Media & Communications at City of Glasgow College.

I have an interest in media and screenwriting as it allows me to make a change and express my passions.

Greta Gerwig is a woman in media who inspires me. She has made a strong name for herself, through screenwriting and directing, in a very male-dominated space. She is paving the way for women to feel comfortable in following their dreams and passions in these spaces.

My hopes for the future is to write scripts for films, mainly adapted from real-life stories, to make a difference and give a voice to the voiceless. I would then like to direct my own films, creating work that remains timeless.
